Confidor® 70 WG is a systemic Insecticide for foliar, soil and stem application and is active particularly against sucking insects. The active ingredient imidacloprid belongs to the chloronicotinyly chemical class of insecticides. Chloronicotinyls target insects and exhibit low toxicity to warm-blooded animals. Imidacloprid has excellent systemic properties and significant residual activity.

- Mode of action:
- Imidacloprid acts as an acute contact and stomach poison. This active substance acts by interfering with the transmission of impulses in the nerve system of insects. It acts by exciting certain nerve cells acting on a receptor protein. It is a nicotine acetylcholine receptor agonist / antagonist.
